It would prove useful to people running KDE on Solaris. And I was thinking of writing dtrace probes for KDE along with Anil at the upcoming hackathon.

Are you referring to the book. If so, the ability to dtrace will not be something special to KDE since there are no KDE specific providers currently, but there might still be some novel ways of solving the problems for a person who has done trouble-shooting using dtrace with KDE apps.
