For those who don't know about it: Sometime last year, Moinak had released the Belenix remastering kit. you could essentially rebuild Belenix as required. I'll honestly admit that I've done zero as far as remastering Belenix goes. However, the more of us that get involved, the better it'd be for Belenix as a whole. We need to start fixing bugs that we spot, pushing in settings that we'd like to have (turning off the console beep by default is a great example :) ) I have attended Ian Murdock's talk at the Javaone, and from what I gathered, he doesn't seem to have even seen Belenix. I'll write about that in another thread. As for us BOSUG and POSUG folks, there's very little that's preventing us from becoming a moving force in the Solaris world. And that very little thing is the act of taking the first few steps toward improving Belenix as we want it to improve. -- Sriram
