   Are you referring to the GRUB disk numbering ? We have not yet faced any
   problem.  If the USB is always made as the first bootable device in 
BIOS it
   should always be hd0.

   This however hoses the ability to boot from harddisk till the BIOS 
ordering is
   changed or the USB is pulled out.
