Mr Ghosh thank u for the mail.

  1. the solaris10 has booting problem (both Command line & CDE/JDS). this
problem has come after booting with belenix but Now booting with belenix is ok.

  2. When i met Mr Pavan during sun tech days, i told him abt the driver for
the wifi card.

ok.

Actually my prime requirement is a C/C++ pgm should run on Solari OS in my
system.

I have Solaris 10 OS downloaded CDs + DVD version which u gave on suntech
days + belenix CD.

guide me so that i can execute my C/C++ codes easily(system is x86 P IV /
512Mb ).

Even on Solaris 10 thumb drive should be automatically mounted
under the directory "/rmdisk" if it is formatted as FAT. Insert the thumb
drive, wait for a few momments and then look in the "/rmdisk" directory.

You are encouraged to use JDS (Java Desktop) and not CDE. If you
use JDS then an icon should automatically appear for the thumb
drive.

Are you using a laptop ? The driver for this card may not be
available. See the Hardware Compatibility List:

http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/

Though this does not give a full picture as there are many opensource
drivers available.

What are the error messages ? It is difficult to understand the problem
without knowing the error messages. Does the system hang at some
point ?

Moinak.
