Hello All,

Here are some ideas come to me :

( Attention not to return in competition with commerciales companies
for trainings)

It is necessary to "DEMOCRATIZE" Solaris by giving free "trainings",
initial workshops and events (how to install his workstation, his
servers, at home/office ) how to use opensolaris community, how to
install services on Solaris (SAMP, printer client/server, SAMBA, mail
client, ...) how to harden his server/workstation.

How to replace microsoft workspace by Solaris one (at home, at the
office ?).

I think that the priority could be to allow people first to install
Solaris on their machines, (driver issues, ...) we need to help them in
this way as much as we can, with some workshops/events, developments.
Then give them if necessary standard tranings (Basic ones : Solaris
environment, Solaris admin).

We also need be knowned as active community, capable of helping the
persons avid to use Solaris.

I agree also for a meeting (as soon as possible) , in Lausanne, or
anywhere to talk about , how can we start, where, the resources we have,
the resources we need, the relations with Sun, or other companies , and
CHOSUG.

I am available for giving trainings ;-)

Cheers,

Mourad.
