Hello everyone, I'd like to ask you all about reaching a concensus on how we want to run CHOSUG, and what the next steps should be. The questions I have are: - when, where and how often do we want to meet? - is Sun Microsystems willing to donate a room for us to meet regularly, or should we look for accomodation elsewhere? - is there any interest towards regular training sessions in Solaris technology? Perhaps we could even set a goal for the training, such as becoming a Solaris certified system administrator - if there is interest towards structured training, how many people would be interested in attending regularly, and how often? - what other subjects to discuss regarding Solaris, hardware/storage and network (security / administration) would be of interest to the CH OpenSolaris community? We could cover a wide range of topics, from Sun Studio compilers to designing and running Asterisk PBX complete with installing VoIP phones, to implementing DNS and firewalls, to name a few. _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself instantly with MSN Messenger!
