yes, and no.

as you could have read, I am doing linux AND solaris. and the Solaris  
Active Directory joining worked for me in earlier revisions, but got  
REALLY fu**** up on the latest revisions.


I know the linux/winbind way works -

on smbadm join -U Administrator DOMAIN.TLD .... well, it always gives  
error messages. but does not join. and I ensure you, I've tried months
