Dear all, after 2008, the year where we setup a mirror for OpenSolaris ISO images with the help of switch, 2009 is the year where we set up an IPS repository. So, I'm happy to announce that we do have today our own IPS server, with the help of Javi. Merci javi !
So, we are experimenting it, and will deal later with correct domain name (may be linked to opensolaris.ch owned by Manuel Burki, anyone knows him ?) How to use it ? pfexec pkg set-publisher -O http://212.147.38.38:10000 chosug Testing it is the best thing you can do (response time, availability, challenge it by installing netbeans-ide, SunStudio, OpenOffice for example). Karim P.S: so Project 2 is done (seting up a IPS repository for CHOSUG) and doesn't need anymore a leader. But we are still looking for a leader for Project 1, who is to bring the OpenSolaris Swiss Edition LiveDVD. This DVD would include the previous IPS server too :) -- Sent from a laptop powered by OpenSolaris -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
