This is really sad - I've been diving into the OpenSolaris since build 130 and really appreciating the experience! I was really waiting to see true osol users (even gurus?) in Berne.
I'm personaly more active for CAcert.org project and yes - there was a debate over whether they should participate or not (topsoft resized the booth size of each project, got lot smaller) but even then they said (a bit grumpy) that they still want to participate. At least I really hope to see some fo you opensolaris guys at OpenExpo - Who? On the other hand, as OpenExpo in Winterthur stopped to exist there are people organising the FrosCamp in Zurich - more precisely at ETH where the focus sould be more should be more on FOSS and Community - and best of all: No commercial backing/sponsoring! (Besides food and drinks maybe as of wiki sites) See http://wiki.froscamp.org/ FreeBSD, OpenBSD, Fedora and Debian as OS/Distributions already applied for their participation. Also the inscription for booth is much more community-oriented - just create a wiki page :-) Deadline for project registration is still undefined but the deadline will be around Q3! -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
