That is great that you got the install to work. I would like to talk to you about what you are doing...install is the area I'm working on, and I know it isn't the most user friendly experience. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
There is an opensolaris discussion list (opensolaris-discuss at opensolaris.org). I've noticed that the people on that list are extremely helpful with troubleshooting. It includes both Sun and non-Sun folks. That would be a good place to go if you want to check to see if anyone else has had similar problems with their nic. ginnie Michael MIller wrote On 08/25/06 22:12,: >Finally got the install to go on vmware >You have to hit F2 - go into the BIOS setup for vmware >Turn off the A disk (it looks for a darn boot disk in drive a) >Then it drops through and installs :) > >Now I only have to figure out why it wont see my ether card > > > >Mike > >-----Original Message----- >From: ug-frosug-bounces at opensolaris.org >[mailto:ug-frosug-bounces at opensolaris.org] On Behalf Of Brandon Hamm >Sent: Tuesday, August 22, 2006 7:00 PM >To: Virginia.Wray at Sun.COM; ug-frosug at opensolaris.org >Subject: Re: [ug-frosug] test > >Interesting....I got your "test" but did not receive the previous thread >"August meeting announcement".
