That is great that you got the install to work. I would like to talk to 
you about what you are doing...install is the area I'm working on, and I 
know it isn't the most user friendly experience. Any feedback is greatly 
appreciated.

There is an opensolaris discussion list 
(opensolaris-discuss at opensolaris.org).  I've noticed that the people on 
that list are extremely helpful with troubleshooting. It includes both 
Sun and non-Sun folks.  That would be a good place to go if you want  to 
check to see if anyone else has had similar problems with their nic.
