IN Germany I don't think Darren Reed will soon again come to Hamburg
(http://www.guug.de/lokal/hamburg/20070201.html) which was stone's throw
away from you.

Most of the German OpenSolaris-related things are either performed by GUUG
(GOSUG is as of now not really existing yet) or GUUG is somehow involved in
it:

1) LinuxTag in Berlin again with an OpenSolaris track 2008
   (2007: http://www.linuxtag.org/2007/en/conf/events/vp-freitag.html)
2) next years OSDevCon probably some where else

    watch out at http://osdevcon.org
3) Sun TechDays (done by Sun of course)

Maybe there's one or another chance to meet or exchange speakers (1,2)?
