NOTE: Different date to usual - as there is clash with the Kernel
Conference in Brisbane, and I understand a number of folks won't be
available. So - we are running a week late.

Greetings all -

Last month: We missed out through sickness and absence of presenters. Boo.

But - fear not - We are back, bigger and better.

This month, we'll be hitting some interesting stuff like Solaris
Performance (with real life problem chasing), Nevada / Opensolaris
putbacks, and we *hope* to have a very special guest, though they are as
yet unconfirmed.

Please respond in the positive OR negative ASAP so Pizza and Drinks can
be planned. :)

Where?
Level 7, 476 St Kilda Road, Melbourne,
When?
Wednesday July the 22nd, 2009 at 18:00 for general
discussion.

Speakers start at 18:30 sharp, with Pizza arriving somewhere around
20:00ish.

Speakers / Topics will be:

   - Andre and Nathan: Performance observation. We won't make you an
expert, but might help you understand some of what you (and we!)
don't know about performance, and give you a start in the right
     direction.

   - Andre, and Nathan: Recent Nevada putbacks; what's interesting
and what do we want to talk about more?

Unconfirmed:
   - Special Guest: Their pet topic!

Soft drink, coffee/tea and Pizza will be available. (YES - FOOD.)

**If you plan to attend, please reply NOW to
nathan, kroenert at optusnet.com.au so that we
can plan for seating / pizza / drinks!**

To anyone who meets with or talks to folks interested in Solaris: Please
let everyone know about the meeting, the time and the date. We had a
great first meeting, and would love to continue to grow the group.

A note on access: The Lifts in the building and entrance to Level 7
automatically lock early in the evening, so access will be provided by
Sun folks on-site. A sign will also be placed close to the ground floor
lifts with a contact number, should you arrive after the start of the
meeting.

If you are interested in Solaris, doing interesting things with, or on
Solaris, we want YOU!

See our opensolaris project page:
               http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/msosug/

Hope to see many of you there, and if you are not yet on the alias
               ug-msosug at opensolaris.org
consider joining us! (See the project page above for details!)

Cheers!

The Instigators.
