Nice one!

Here's a trick:

Try eating crispy chips while "gazing blankly" in the direction of a
colour VDU (Old fashioned CRT type). Don't actually look at the monitor.
Gaze past it or bring up some sort of non-visual thought so that your
eyes are slightly defocused.
