Greetings all -
Reminder about this weeks MSOSUG meeting:
============================================================
Following the success of the first MSOSUG meeting, it's time to get the
second meeting on the board!
Where?
Level 7, 476 St Kilda Road, Melbourne,
When?
Wednesday, October 17th, 2007 at 18:00 for general discussion.
Speakers start at 18:30 sharp, and we expect that each speaker will take
up to one hour. (And Nathan *promises* to take less than 2...! ;)
Confirmed Speakers / Topics will be:
- Nathan Kroenert
Solaris 10 Update 4, featuring iSCSI and IP Instances
- Mystery person, possibly Nathan (gulp),
If it's Nathan, he'll be covering the bits of the new
N2 systems, T5120 and T5220 he could not talk about
last time.
Please reply to this email if you would like to fill a speaking spot for
this meeting!! (You don't want 2 hours of Nathan again, do you???)
Note: both Andre *and* Boyd are stuck up in Sydney, so Boyd + Andre's
ZFS talk has been pushed to next month, and Andre's SSGD talk will
happen shortly thereafter, scheduled based on interest levels.
Soft drink, coffee/tea and Pizza will be available. (YES - FOOD.)
**If you plan to attend, please reply NOW to nathan at sun.com so that we
can plan for seating / pizza / drinks!**
To anyone who meets with or talks to folks interested in Solaris: Please
let everyone know about the meeting, the time and the date. We had a
great first meeting, and would love to continue to grow the group.
A note on access: The Lifts in the building and entrance to Level 7
automatically lock early in the evening, so access will be provided by
Sun folks on-site. A sign will also be placed close to the ground floor
lifts with a contact number, should you arrive after the start of the
meeting.
If you are interested in Solaris, doing interesting things with, or on
Solaris, we want YOU!

Cheers!
