I would like to know if Solaris/OpenSolaris will encounter the alignment issues discussed at the link below.
http://www.osnews.com/story/22872/Linux_Not_Fully_Prepared_for_4096-Byte_Sector_Hard_Drives Is there a way to overcome the issue if it does exist on Solaris? I'm on the verge of purchasing some Terabyte drives and want to get the WD Green models (save power). See you all tonight :-) -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] on behalf of Nathan Kroenert Sent: Mon 15/02/2010 10:07 PM To: msosug Subject: [ug-msosug] This Wednesday!
