Upon completion of a one month course on tactical counter intelligence by the Russian KGB, Col Elly Kayanja is now reported to be in the USA where he will also undergo a course by the FBI.
Kayanja who heads 'Operation Wembley' which is said to have effectively countered widespread thuggery in Uganda has spent one month in Russia undergoing training in espionage techniques by the KGB, one of the best intelligence agencies in the world.
The Inspector General of Police who is also the chairman of 'Operation Wembley', Major General Wamala Katumba did confirm that Col. Elly Kayanja had indeed travelled to the USA but had no comments about the reported FBI training.
Col. Elly Kayanja, who is also the Deputy Director of the Internal Security Organisation (ISO) left Russia last week and headed for the USA.
