There you go again, glorifying your Kony. We will see who turns tail
at the end. By the way, are you now acknowledging Kony's existence?

"This gift will improve our reaction capacity against
Kony,” Mbabazi said.

Qiangmin tries out one of the trucks as Mbabazi (2nd left) and Lakara
(3rd left) cheer him on
By Grace Matsiko CHINA yesterday
boosted the UPDF’s offensive against Joseph Kony rebels by donating 50
brand- new military trucks worth US$1m (about sh1.8b). The Chinese
ambassador, Li Qiangmin, and a delegation of Chinese military officers
who flew into the country, presented the Jiefang trucks and their
accessories to the Minister for Defence, Amama Mbabazi, at Bombo UPDF
headquarters. State minister for defence Ruth Nankabirwa, the army
Chief of Staff, Brig. Nakibus Lakara, and several other defence
officials witnessed the ceremony. “We are happy to receive the trucks
at the time we have declared war on lack of transport. Some of our
units have no vehicles. We have been hiring vehicles from civilians at
the most inconvenient time. This gift will improve our reaction
capacity against Kony,” Mbabazi said. Qiangmin said, “the 50 trucks
are a small gift but carry a big heart. We hope they will be
beneficial to boost your efforts against rebels in the northern part
of the country.” The overall commander of Operation Iron-Fist, the
code-name for the anti-Kony offensive, Brig. Aronda Nyakairima, was
present. Qiangmin said the Chinese army had allocated 21 slots for
training the UPDF personnel, the biggest the country has offered to a
single African country. He said the 40-year mutual relationship
between Uganda and China had not only been in the military but also in
the social and economic sectors. Col. Jiang Lianxiang said, “We shall
fight with you shoulder to shoulder in safeguarding your country.”
