Kiggundu, the law does not punish the innocent / Newvision

SIR—If Dr Kiggundu cried foul over the selective discrimination by the government to punish offenders, I would understand.

What I don’t understand is him thinking that if he is convicted by a court of law he shouldn’t face the consequences because he supported Museveni.

This is absurd thinking holds our nation at ransom, with individuals committing crimes thinking that they are untouchable. This attitude is more dangerous than the prospects of Besigye's war.

If Kiggundu wants to get involved in politics he will be a man of integrity if he does it on merit other than revenge for his just incarceration.

If you cant do the time, don’t do thecrime. It is very simple!
