The president said the law needs to be amended so that suspected terrorists can be tried secretly.
He said the LRA is not a simple war as people think attributing the struggle to the Sudan.
He said Kony was being supported by the Sudan and Arabs from the Middle East, reason the war is not ending.
Fellow Citizens:
I believe the people of Uganda would like to Know from Dictator Yoweri Kaguta Museveni which Arabs (and he should be specific here) in the Middle East are supporting the so called Kony Rebels? .......and besides wasn't it but yesterday when Uganda and Sudan signed an agreement in which Sudan agreed to cease any supposed support to the so called LRA rebels?
Isn't Museveni''s utterances, at this point in time, a move to sort of draw US and Western sympathy to his cause. Kaguta (in his deranged mind) thinks that if he mentions Arabs and Muslims as supporters of the so called " KONY Rebels" . The US and other Western Nations will come to his ( Kaguta's) aid.
The fact is NRM created KONY!..and because KONY is Museveni's creation, Museveni and his NRM are responsible for what ever the outcome of the war is in Northern and now Eastern Uganda period.
Secondly, the notion that dictator Yoweri Kaguta Museveni should first identify his quote "capable replacement" before Kaguta frees the Uganda People from the stronghold the NRM Military dictators has imposed upon our people, is pretty much ridiculous.
NRM and Yoweri Museveni military dictatorship is responsble for 18 years of wars in our country; 18 years of death and destruction; 18 years of Human suffering specifically in Northern Uganda , and generally speaking, in the whole of Uganda.
The choice before us is now clear fellow citizens as we "celebrate" Uganda's Independence: we either continue to be lead by a warmonger manic who believes in creating and fighting wars be it in Northern Uganda, Karamoja region, Southern Sudan, Rwanda, Burundi; wars which will lead to more and more Human Suffering and premature death of our fellow citizens old men, women and children;
OR we citizens of Uganda, tired of 18 years of war need to take some drastic steps against the NRM regime and the cabal which has lead us into this mess.
