My compatriots, I have just been informed of the death of Mr Jovan Mabudo W Kiryabwire, Senior Neurosurgeon and lately Member of the Health Services Commission.
To those of us who went through Kiryabiwre's hands at one time or another this comes as a severe blow, for he was truly one of the pillars of the profession. For those who may not have known him/of him, for a long while Kiryabwire was the (only) neurosurgeon at Mulago.
