Question: Where did they get these uniforms? How did military intelligence fail to notice the movement of such a large number of people loaded with heavy equipment in broad daylight? And why didn't the army respond?
Two secenerio is possible here to address this questions above :
either the "rebels" got the Uniforms from some corrupt UPDF army officers ... or the "Rebels" are UPDF soldiers point blank!
Moreover, it is possible the NRM/UPDF intelligence personal ( including Akwany Otema) knew about the movement of their Comrades .....thus the reason why the UPDF couldn't stop the movements of the "rebels" even though the "rebels" were moving in broad day light with Heavy GUNS!!
