Let us all support the Omukama

I wish to urge all Banyoro, those in the diaspora, and all friends of the Banyoro people to support the Omukama of Bunyoro,Solomon Iguru in his efforts to sue the Queen of England for the atrocities and crimes against humanity committed against the Banyoro people.I believe that if the Omukama wins this case and the kingdom is paid damages, then the kingdom can help the districts of Kibaale, Hoima and Masindi develop and enjoy better services like good roads, and electricity in Kibaale district, which the government has failed to provide.

I say right on!!!... Sue the Bastards...that is if you can get away with the law suit.  I suspect, however, that the smart [EMAIL PROTECTED] Brits will come up with something like  " THE BRITISH EMPIRE, it will be argued,   MAY NOT BE SUED for crimes committed  some years ago.. Especially during the colonial period in Africa...

wanna bet look at how  Britain's buddy is handling the  case of reparation as demanded by African Americans.... Notice, if you want, the  cold shoulder, so to say,  ( among US Law makers)  African Americans are getting! The last I heard  some bonehead is claiming that African-Americans have already received  their fare share of "reparation" (as in education grants, low Interest loans, offered to  African Americans during  US President  Lyndon Johnson's NEW DEAL era !! ..I am yet  to see the Mule and 40 acres promised for my brethren!!!

Good lack nonetheless my friend.

"The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth becomes the greatest enemy of the state."
