SIR— We have not forgotten the things that happened to us in the 60s, 70s and 80s. Yet those who inspired them and saw to their implementation are shouting, provoking us and reminding us of the past. Some of us lost fathers, mothers and other relatives and friends.
During the previous regimes, could you abuse Milton Obote — the president — on the radio or TV and hope to enjoy your peace? Could you use such channels to stage Mambo Bado or Simbawo Akati Awo or Palamenti Yaffe to oppose and abuse the Government or President Obote or Amin?
They should accept that we are enjoying the freedom put in place by the Movement. We in Buganda are now paying loyalty to our king.
