PRA is a rebel group which the Government claims is deploying troops at the border in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo, in preparation to launch attacks into western Uganda. Some government officials have claimed that PRA is Reform's armed wing, whose top commander is self exiled former presidential contestant Kiiza Besigye. Besigye denies the claim. Reform's deputy secretary in charge of administration, Mr Louis Otika, yesterday said, "I would like to state categorically that Reform Agenda has no military wing. This (allegation) is a set up of government as part of the manipulation to keep itself in power." He was addressing the weekly press conference at the pressure group's head office on Bukoto, Kampala. Edson Muzoora. Otika said Reform was committed to fighting government through "through legal and democratic means and not armed resistance". -------------------------------------------- This service is hosted on the Infocom network http://www.infocom.co.ug
