These guys are starting to sound very desparate. One minute they tell us that all Baganda support M7, then they complain about the Baganda who call CBS who are anti movement.!! And the fault is Mengo's which owns CBS.

The longer they go on the more they  unite most Baganda against them.
This is really vapid politics

Kigongo warns Mengo officials

By Eddie Ssejjoba AND
Ali Mambule IN MASAKA

THE Movement vice-chairman, Al Hajji Moses Kigongo (left), has told Mengo officials to stop intimidating the Government and inciting the people of Buganda on issues concerning the White Paper.

“The NRM government is not here to be intimidated and threatened by anybody. Mengo must stop using their radio to incite and intimidate those opposed to their ideas,” Kigongo said.

Kigongo was on Monday addressing Movement chairpersons, Masaka district councillors and opinion leaders at the Masaka Lukiiko Hall at Saza.
He said Mengo was using Central Broadcasting Service (CBS) radio to incite Baganda and was telling lies about the outcome of the negotiations with the Government.

Kigongo attacked Mengo officials for saying that President Yoweri Museveni was planning to get rid of the Kabaka after failing to reach a compromise with Mengo on federalism and other issues.
“It was Museveni who reinstate d the Kabaka and he is the one protecting him. How can he then do that?” he asked.

Kigongo said he was not attacking Buganda but asked Mengo to stop misleading the public. “I have come out because things were getting out of hand. I request Mengo to tell the truth about what they achieved from the negotiations instead of misleading people that they gained nothing from the dialogue,” he said.

Speaking earlier to Rakai district leaders, opinion leaders and the LC3 chairpersons at Serona Hotel in Kyotera, Kigongo said he supported the proposal to give powers to Parliament to remove a king who violates the Constitution.
