"kony" , like I have always stated, are elements within the UPDF. The said articles which we post is more an indictment of the UPDF then "kony" . We challenge this Mareno Ocampo, to issue is order to Arrest "Kony" !!

More often than not, I see heaps and heaps of articles singling out Kony and the LRA for various acts of atrocity ( forwarded by just Mr. Matek).

Matek probably has not seen Kony but, a lot others have. Many have seen his father and mother. So, the Acoli, Acoli MPs, Acoli leaders, Bishops etc, are dealing with a ghost!?!?

No wonder, I usually don?t see any credibility in Matek?s writings.

THE prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Moreno Ocampo, is seeking arrest warrants for the Lord's Resistance Army (LRA) leader and one of his deputies.

The French daily, Le Monde, quoting unidentified court sources, said the warrants targeted LRA leader Joseph Kony and a top official of the group who was not named, the French news agency, AFP, reported on Saturday.

The warrants, the first since the court in The Hague was established to deal with cases of war crimes and genocide in 2002, have to be approved by ICC judges before they are issued, Le Monde said.

Christian Palme, a spokesman in Ocampo's office, told AFP, "I neither deny nor confirm this information. The investigation is still going on."

Ocampo had said in April he could suspend, but not drop entirely, planned prosecution of LRA rebels, to enable peace moves with the government to succeed.
