Angolan head of State, José Eduardo dos Santos, left Luanda today for Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, for a few hours working visit.

Expected back home in the evening today, Jose Eduardo dos Santos and his local counterpart, Joseph Kabila, will analyse the situation prevailing in the DR Congo.

A source from the Presidency of the Republic told Angop that the Angolan president will attend a mini-summit with his colleagues from Gabon, Omar Bongo, Congo Brazzaville, Dennis Sasso Ngueso, and the host, on the situation in that neighbouring country and in the Great Lakes Region.
