Well, what do I know?!? I do not know what part of Acoli you are from.

Perhaps your people too have been shouldering the burden of Uganda’s political dilemma for the past couple of decades. Perhaps they too commute to Gulu every night fall to the shelter of open street while their country mates (who do not even provide refugee Camps far away from LRA reach) sleep in warm and comfortable houses? Perhaps your people too are beasted in those filthy IDP camps. Perhaps your people too “protest voted” last time around, only to see them “emancipator INDEPENDENT MPs” deliver nothing but wishes?

For my part, allow me say, who feels it knows it.

The elections are over. Let us wait and see what support Northern and Eastern Ugandan get from the rest of the regions. Let us wait and see what legislations are passed in favour of the suffering Ugandan in the Camps. I hope the elected MPs will lobby enough influence among the NRM MPs and other parties.

Otherwise, we may be set for yet another mandate period of political secularization with Legislation and decisions passed above our heads without our participation or influence.

Ladit Matek,

Noc'la does sound as if he is under the influence these days. Iwonder what's messing up his head. The Acoli people would have to bemorons or zombies to vote for a man who sees their suffering as anacceptable cost of his megalomaniacal projects.

That really is one of the most frightening things aboutMuseveni. No price is too high, no ambition too costly forUgandans and their neighbors to pay for his political(mis)adventures.

LaditMatek,
It seems to me like you do not quite understand me when I say" PUT YOUR VOTES WHERE YOUR MOUTHIS". You do not understand me when I say "EAT WHERE EVERY OTHER UGANDANTRIBE IS EATING". Perhaps I should elucidate better by clearlydefining some of the"mouths"(these days we can have more than one mouth, ahaaha):

1) Freedom, Liberty, Justice and democracy is ourmouth.
2) Prosperity and well being is our mouth (equilibrated /normative Social, Cultural andEconomic).
3) Security is our mouth.
4) REPATRIATION of IDP-Camp confined Ugandan to their respectivehomes is our mouth.
5) The MILLENNIUM GOAL is ourmouth.
< FONT face="Times NewRoman">6) Fair distribution and share of the national cake is ourmouth etc.

Take for example, the Millennium Goal. As you may by now beaware of, the UN- convention clearly articulates the provisions of theMillennium Goal (QUALITATIVE EDUCATION for all). Accomplishment of theGoal is set for year 2015 (!?), in 2006 we still do not even have basicconducive conditions for establishing a fairly functioning ruralschool.
Our collective 'MOUTHS" (under the same "More than onemouthism)are exactly the six listed above. Because, QUALITATIVE EDUCATIONentails qualitative social and cultural milieu.

I hope now you understand me better when I say,"EAT." So,'Eating" as I used it means halting the disaster demographicdevelopment not the kind of normati ve 'Dinner tables" you so eagerlywill associate me with.

Are we in tune?
