This subsequent development in the repatriation issue evoke very urgent need for new conceptual approach. Why should the IDP residents have so varied perspectives for their future? Are they not bedding for secularization?

Certain positions that should be observed are:

1) They are already Urbanized Rural and as such do not value peasant lifestyles.

2) They are already used to getting supplies from NGOs (perhaps school fees for their children too or access to education in a different way)

3) Most of the "Village Originals" (initial Camp elders with village life experiences) have perished: majority Camp residents are younger generations who have never had any village life experience. Just the feeling that they should suddenly start to dig with their bare hands is horrifying. They do not even know how to start to survive.

Perhaps it is a high time our academics convened to come out with more workable approach?!?
