About this appeal for help to start a computer school in Uganda:
I am surprised anyone is still thinking about Information Technology in Uganda.
Electricity at times is off for 48 hours, and this should not surprise.
For Museveni "privatized" the electricity industry into power generation and marketing.
Now the marketing, which essentially is the collection of money from the consumers was given to ESCOM of South Africa/( a cover for some crafty Boer thieving buddies with m7).
But under this ESCOM deal is a company owned by Andrew Young and Carl Masters.
Carl Masters is from Jamaica and his formal education is, at most, Senior four. A crafty man who used to live here in Toronto, and left North America in a shame, accused of fondling lady co-workers.
Andrew Young and Carl Masters' company in Uganda has been joined by the recently retired Jamaican Prime Minister, Mr Peterson, a man whose political machine has always been oiled by cocaine merchants in his own island country.
Why do all these crooks congregate around m7 ?
When was US representative at the UN, Andrew Young is the one who delivered money and missiles (saba saba) to Nyerere to overrun our country ostensibly to throw out bad man Idi Amin. ( Yes they use black people to kill and rob us)!!
But we at least had electricity under Amin.
Instead of employing our school leavers to go around taking electricity meter readings and collecting money from electricity users now we have these international Mafia take this over.
Where is the employment for our children ?
30 years ago money would be taken from UEB to pay farmers for their coffee or cotton crops. Eight months down the road when Coffee Marketing Board had sold the crops on the world market it would return the money to UEB. That is how our agricultural industry used to be funded.
That is how me managed to pay school fees !!
Now farmers are given chits ( promissory notes ) that take years to be paid.
M7 and his robbing gangster mafia must now be zillionaires.
Meanwhile the second half of the privatized UEB, the Power Generation was given to some local boys from Rwakitura. But this is is most crucial part. The one where ESCOM would have brought in expertise to generate more electrical energy. That is if the whole exercise had been a genuine deal.
When there is not enough energy generated is it any wonder that there is load shedding? That is obvious even to an idiot.
Some are excited that when Hilrary Onek goes to cabinet he will solve these problems. Is he capable of building you a nuclear reactor or any other generating means overnight? How can you put hope in a man who has been busy stealing land that belongs to Kampala schools ( Nakasero Primary school ). To have hope in m7's circle of a thieving gang really takes a lot of naivety.
How can a country run in darkness. The hospitals, Laboratories to grow vaccines, grinding mills for 'kawunga' etc....
Meanwhile Kenya has contracted Manitoba Hydro in a deal similar to the one m7 did with ESCOM i.e. to bring Canadians to collect Kenya's electricity bills from Kenyans.
Are we Africans morons ? Good for nothing chimpanzees that pass off as human beings ? Why are we all so stupid.
What Kenya needs are agreements with others to help them GENERATE MORE ENERGY, for goodness sake. Not collecting bills for a dwindling supply of electricity !!! Doesn't all of this make you cry?
The other day A Muhindi was crying out in Uganda that his production schedule had been permanently disrupted and ruined, and on top of that he was being asked to payer even higher rates for the diminished electricity !!
Which reminded me of another Muhindi who was visiting here and said, with glee, that m7 is so good that he had transferred all soldiers up there to the North and there was peace in Kla !!
Cynically one can say that Ugandans have got what they asked for !!
When does a man get a break from all this nightmare?
