Speaking about the planned reunion, Internal Affairs Minister Dr Ruhakana Rugunda, who is the leader of Uganda's negotiation team said the government is ready to do whatever it takes to achieve peace in northern Uganda.
This not a sincere statement. It takes trust to bring peace and if he really means to bring peace in northern Uganda, why not remove or dismantle the NRA in the North? That is what it takes to ensure there is no finger pointing and playing LRA as may be opportune. At least we shall have only one force to blame for attacks or insecurity in the region.
