Emmy,
Don't be funny now. Here is OJ for you
"EM:
No Sir, common sense has not gone amok, but Mugabe has.
If the West protects its own interest, why can't Africans do the same?
Is it because we are inferior or what? You state: "Africa shall build its ow
democracy" When would that be and what type of democracy is that?
Museveni made the same statement many years ago.
What we have is caged human beings in the north, rigged elections, sold lands
to foreigners etc.
Is that the type of African democracy you are talking about sir?"
If the west can protect its interest why can't African do the same??
Is this coming from someone who knows what happened to the government of
Kwameh Nrumah; what happened Patrice Lumumba; what happened to Steve Mbiko;
What happened to even Laurent Kabila not too long ago?? And if such ignorance
is called idiocy, then all hell must break loose??
No you people are a lot more funny than serious!
And yet OJ even have the guts to state that:
"Museveni made the same statement many years ago.
What we have is caged human beings in the north, rigged elections, sold lands
to foreigners etc."
Does OJ even know that it is the same west that is protecting its interest,
that is behind Mu7, pumping to the regime financial help et cetrra, because Mu7
safeguard their interests??
What then is the logic in OJ' arguments on Africans protect their interests,
and Mu7 said the same but look what he does??
Or this is a beer parlour that anyone just throw in anything, like my mate
Gau who threw one in too: 'Those prevalent in government should do the same too
on oppositions', to paraphrase??
What would be the logic behind that as well??
NO! Its okay to get out of the kitchen if the heat is too much. Idiocy cannot
build a country; that is a fact. Take it or leave it.

It is unfortunate that you plan to leave at the time when your views and
opinion was most needed. Let not only one person chase you away from this
forum, where you have built your everlasting profile. I think writing to ocii
means a lot not only to him but to us all. We have had such behaviour before
but I can assure you that people styled up and the forum reformed. I know Abbey
will do what he usually does and everything will come back to normality. Your
views and for those of other Ugandans who participate on this forum count a lot
not only to forum members but for the betterment of our country. My request to
ocii rethink his conduct do the needful to OJ and avoid hurting others feelings
through such behaviour; we should continue upholding self respect and this will
take us a long. In fact ocii your views are equally important as for any other
Ugandan however on this and other two or three occasions I find his conduct
uncalled for. I call on Abbey to do the needful
check on such behaviour.
OJ, my humble request is for you to rethink your position and forgive ocii.
Dont leave because of one person's sins. If you decide to leave,
Ugandans-at-Heart will miss your sincere contribution to this forum.
Looking forward to reading your views on this forum once again
Emmy

Ladies and gentlemen,
It has been very nice participating in this forum and getting to know too
many people who share the same interest and concern. But, I must say, I am
done. The language of abuse being used on the forum has gone beyond normal.
Uganda 08 and the foundation will occupy my time from now on. You have main
e-contact and I have many of yours. We will stay in touch with those I have
come to respect and admire.
Mercie.
OJ
