Situation de la journée du 11 Décembre 2007.
Alors que les zones des combats se sont déplacées vers la ville de Goma, la
situation sécuritaire des civiles dans cette ville sempire :
Les informations à notre possession font état des plusieurs arrestations
arbitraires des civils suivi de torture et de séquestration dans des cachots :
Dans laprès midi de ce 11 décembre 2007, Monsieur Mustapha BAZIRAHE,
Rwandophone de son État, boutiquier a été enlevé et arrêté par les militaires
sous le motif dappartenir au CNDP.
Dans cette même journée, Monsieur MUHAMED Gasana un démobilisé, a été
enlevé avec quatre autres personnes et séquestrés dans le cachot de T2
(sécurité militaire), pour motif, appartenance au mouvement CNDP.
Tout près du rond point Birere, 5 personnes ont été arrêtés et acheminés au
T2. La même source nous parle de plusieurs arrestations arbitraires dont
certaines personnes sont séquestrées dans des containers à laéroport
international de Goma.
Mme Christine à été visité par de hommes en armes, qui lui ont tiré une balle
dans la jambe et lui ont assené des coups de machettes à la tête, les 400 USD
nont pas arrêté les assaillants, elle est à lhôpital DOCS de Goma.
« Ceux qui ont tant souffert durant ces années de guerre ne doivent pas être
abandonnés lorsque les combats se rapprochent. » a dit Sylvie Van Woudenberg et
pourtant ce qui se passe derrière les lignes de front montre quune partie de
la population est laissée entre les mains des FARDC qui les torturent dans des
cachots en toute impunité.

department), accused to be a membership CNDP.
Nearby the Birere roundabout , 5 persons were arrested and conveyed in T2.
The same source told us about others cases of arbitrary arrests and
sequestration in containers at the international airport of Goma.
Mrs. Christine was visited by armed people, which drew a bullet in her leg to
and blows her wit machetes on her head, the 400 USD she gave did not stop the
attackers. She is at DOCS hospital .
"Those which suffered so much during these years from war should not be
abandoned when the engagements approach" said Sylvie Van Woudenberg and yet
what occurs behind the front lines shows that a part of the population is
left between the hands of the FARDC which torture them in dungeons in all
impunity.
