As the election of representatives in the EALA continue in Great Lakes, The
Party Presidents Secretary general Fr. Jacinto Ogwal MP Otuke was among
those that seconded Chris Opoka to go to the EALA, Olara Otunu rejected that
name and we understand he has also very immediately fired MP Jacinto Ogwal
as his Secretary. We understand that he has named his deputy Mr. Bossa to be
his also secretary General with a single purpose to make sure that Opoka
does not proceed to the EALA. We also know that Mr. Bossa has immediately
written a letter to the clerk of parliament revoking the nomination of
Chris. We however understand that as by now, the parliamentary clerk has
refused to join the games of the 6th floor on Uganda House, and Chris
Opokas name is still listed. On that development we understand that the UPC
party president has decided to pull the entire party out of the EALA.
