Ugandans
not withholding the fact that no easterner has stood at the elm of any
major party in Uganda since its inception.
Just for education purposes this statement is very wrong. There are regions
that are not a leadership material and I present to you Ontario province, we
are the economical heart of this country, in fact in another language we are
the economic engine of this country. But Ontario is not a producer of Ottawa
leadership. And we can try to produce as many brains a we so can but bottom
line we cannot lead in Ottawa, and we are very fine with it. I think the
present leader Stephen Harper is the first leader we have lately got out of
Western Canada. Although Stephen was born in Toronto but he grew up and
studied and lived all his life in Western Canada so he is a more Westerner
than Toronto. All leaders we have got in this country come from Quebec and
we accepted that and we so moved on. And it works so well for when you come
from Quebec you pull French and English and we move on. We worry more about
your policies than where you were born from.
Look at Americans that based a vote on color, has Obama been a best
president? Grow up people !!!!!

Subject: {UAH} Mafabi & The Eastern Party

Mafabi should form another party to accommodate Ugandans from the
orient/east
Its clear that Mafabi was the right man to take over FDC from Besigye, not
withholding the fact that no easterner has stood at the elm of any major
party in Uganda since its inception.
I believe a party identifiable with eastern Uganda, like for instance, UPC
with the north, DP with central, NRM with the west and UFA with the whole of
Uganda, there is a strong case for an eastern party. This would create the
sort of dynamics that is lacking in representation of political ideologies
and the balance of power in the house and possibility of coalitions.
The present arrangement, like in the US and the UK, stifles other voices or
ideologies leaving the two majors to speak for the rest. Its therefore right
that Mafabi and his supporters, who are mainly from the east should go ahead
and set up a new party.
