Again Twodwong was an Acholi. Now this is what this book states about the brothers of George Okello and how they targeted but murdered any Langi found in The North. Again I insist do not change Uganda to a Federal state for the moment you do that, tribes like Langis will easily be eliminated by Acholis. Again read the book of one of the survivors of Acholi brutality then wonder why George Okello’ s going after people in UAH is very classical. After they murdered the Langis in The North, Acholis turned to Museveni to again go after Langis. What George Okello is doing today is to become another Labwor –Dwong in UAH. It is worthwhile mentioning that after Tito Okello's military coup, the army became divided along tribal lines. Respect in the army was only accorded to Acholi tribe. This promoted cronyism - "Acholism" in the army. The langi tribesmen who felt betrayed did not want to get involved in the Tito gov't and any war against NRA.Tribal favoritism was common knowledge in the way officers were being appointed in key military positions and it trickled down to even platoon commander. By the time Kampala fell to NRA,, the army was so demoralized, disunited and divided along tribal lines. The bottom line was that non Acholi by tribe did not want to stand up and fight anymore because of the tribal favoritism displayed by Acholi tribes men in the past and other related sentiments. The war had been lost. It was an inglorious defeat. Bazillio Okelleo's promises to the langi had been actuated. When I reached Lira Town, what I saw was despicable. Thay had carried out Bazillio's evil plans to the dot. They carried out revenge on the people of lango in the manner they deemed appropriate. The soldiers had murdered the people of lango at will. The Labwor-Dwongs(Okello's private army) looted schools, hospital offices, burnt shops and destroyed private property as they wished. Infact Lira had become a lawless frontier town. A one Ojukwe was the chief architect of revenge and atrocities carried out on the people of lango. This man was an illiterate ,barbaric and primitive individual with bestial cruelty. He was another egocentric psychopath who was only loyal to Bazilio Okello. He was head of the Labwor-Dwong militia. He never spoke any English. He was law unto himself. Because of this kind of baseless claim, (Baganda) compared AMO to a "dog" when he died. Yet not a single day had Baganda proofed their claim in any court in Uganda not even abroad. They used 1966 Crisis as their yard stick of hatred towards AMO and northerners. They agains used 1980 election for the same. Is this, not the same as, any thing that goes against the interest of Buganda, is hatred, whether its in the interest of majorithy ugandans. But, the one that goes, agianst the majority ugandans but in the interest of Buganda is good. The way they have imposed M7 upon ugandans to date. They have many Langi in their home districts. Unless they Langi are the one who harbour hatred towards Acholi people. And OJ when we are talking about the hate of Langis by Acholis, there is a very interesting book I need you to read. I need you to look for a book I forget the name, but it was written by a Langi UNLA Major Rob Otim Engur, this major states in the book that Adok Nekyon is his uncle, but he is a son of an Amin’s first cabinet minister of Culture and Community Development in the 70’s Mr. Yekosafati A. Engur. And if anyone has read that book can help me with the title that has passed my mind today. When you read that Major’s book you will realize how deep is the hatred between Acholis and Langis. When you read that book you will realize how Federalism will never work for Uganda or we are clearly walking directly into the South Sudan situation. It is the hate of Langis that Yoweri Museveni targeted into to get the Acholis on side and thus eating largely from his government. The tribal hate in the population of our country way passes the one of Kenya Tanzania and many neighboring countries. It is in Uganda where Northerners were dying in camps and Baganda stood up and stated very publicly that Ffe kasita twebaka kutulo, let moto nawaka. How can you allow such primitive people to own political powers in their regions? Baganda are going to close off Gulu road and everyone from The North will never ever cross into Buganda to reach Kampala. Again let us use 2014 to embrace our unitary system for it assures the lives in many among ourselves sir. In the following years after its passing into law it was used to end unequal application of voter registration requirements and racial segregation in schools, at work and by facilities that served the general public (known as public accommodations). In short, any political systems one introduces in Africa will have the same problems, because the political system is not the problem, but the people running it.
