In the process of keeping a tab on our money, New Democrat MPs have been
ordered to repay $1.17 million by a secretive House of Commons committee
that has found the party guilty of improperly spending parliamentary
resources for partisan purposes. The board's spokesman, Conservative MP John
Duncan, says the MPs in question owe $36,000 to the House, while the
remaining $1.13 million is owed to Canada Post.
