Africans prefer to down trodden themselves. When you look at the reports in
African forums they are pumping up how great Obama is and how he has done
greatly to send the troops to West Africa, and then they end the praises
with where are African states and where is Africa? But do you know what they
refuse to mention in those reports? Is the contribution of The African
Unity. They have arranged two teams so far of doctors that have been sent
and already arrived in the region and operating. Show me a single posting in
these forums about the AU contribution. Absolutely none.
For some very unknown reason when Africans reach these countries they start
to believe they are white and then attack their own institution/s, the other
day Ocen Nekyon said that Uganda has the least national debt in Great Lakes.
First of all forget even the fact that the statement is puerile, but even
Museveni himself does not know the right figure Uganda has borrowed to
today, because Mwiine has screwed up money from all sorts of sources. Both
known and unknown. It is going to take a great care accounting at the end of
the day by a coming government to know exactly what these goons have
borrowed in the name of the state. But World bank and Washington want the
name of Uganda to look better so they are down playing the debt.
