Museveni did not speak because he wanted the country to prosper but to be in power. To Museveni it is better to be good in the hands of foreign investor than you a poor Ugandan holding land. And that is why some of us strangle ourselves when you guys go after Iddi Amin for Amin would have never done that. Trust me if you fail a foreign investor today in Uganda for you are a land owner you will be shot. This man has managed to be in power this long for he makes decisions that are anti-Africa. The reason Mugabe is being defined as a tyrant is because he would never make this move against Zimbabweans. I get surprised that you go after Museveni but go after Mugabe. No the best part will be after his departure and Ugandans face you as a new buyer of land that bought it off Museveni. That will be hilarious. May God quicken our civil war for some of us simply cant wait. Urbanization is not in itself a sign of social or economic progress. How would a slum like Kamwokya constitute an economic progression? And how does smog-filled streets of Kampala provide better social living than open-air villages? The world over, the most dear property that one desires, or has, is land. And Africa is home to the highest number of land owners anywhere in the world. In his twisted economic wisdom, Museveni would rather the villager sells his land and move to rental units in urban areas! No, sir, Mr. President, what the villager wants from you are these; 1. Access to loan to improve his production 2. Piped water for safe drinking and irrigation 3. Well-staffed, equipped health facilities to treat him when he falls ill 4. Well equipped and staffed schools that actually teach our children 5. Paved, well-maintained road to facilitate mobility of persons and cargo. If you had provided these services at any point in your 30 years in office, you would not be abusing the Ugandan villager today. It's you who have remained backwards, both in your thinking and in your management of our nation.
