As far as advising Abbey not to accept the offer being rumored or not, if it is
true, we all may actually be wasting our time dishing out such a call. First
and foremost Abbey is one of the Luweero "Kadogos" who 100% says the Luweero
war was justified regardless of its brutality. Second, Abbey will not be the
first nor the last to return home under unknown reasons. Believe me, in the 90s
we had some of the strongest anti-Museveni in Toronto. Harold Achemah who was
once one of Uganda's diplomats at the UN spent his entire time in Toronto
cursing Museveni and his NRM. I woke up one morning and heard about Achemah's
return home from a friend. Not only did he return home, but was posted to
Europe as Uganda's diplomat to the EU. This happened after the late Omwony Ojok
had also returned. Omwony was the last person one would have expected to go
home while Museveni was still in power. Add on Chris Opoka another
anti-Museveni. If Chris Opoka can return home, who is Abbey to refuse a
ministerial post sir?
Of late take Gen. Sejjusa, with all the rubbish the man spit about M7 and how
rotten the man was, would you have expected him to go through a VIP lounge at
Entebbe airport on his return home? When I say Uganda is a lost cause I mean it
sir. We have two choices: Admit that we are all enemies and live with it, or,
accept we are all friends and say we care less about those who senselessly lost
their lives in the name of our so-called liberators and move on. Ugandans have
been fucked up so much, that one no longer knows who they are dealing with. The
only person you can trust, when it comes to Ugandans, as far as I am concerned,
is "YOURSELF" and the closest members of your own family and leave out the
extended one. "Leka Abbey adeyo e Kampala alye byeyalwanira e Luweero". The
late Philly Lutaya had it right "Fena tudeyo e Kampala". As Ugandans, we are
not yet fully ready for true liberation and regime change The next person who
comes in is the same as the one going out or even worse....why bother "mbu
Museveni agende". If a forum such as UAH that was set up to bring together
Ugandans for a common cause has been turned into a war zone of words, bragging
about education, abuse, pornographic forum and the founder is now being
rumored to be in bed with a man being described as a dictator 24/7 what more do
you expect from a government change? If you have ever thought of returning to
Uganda under a different circumstance than the one we are used to, "byerabire
munage" The man that opposed Museveni the most in these forums was MP Jimmy
Akena, can anyone educate me what happened to him after his wedding where
Museveni was the guest of honor? Leave Abbey Semuwemba alone he is as all of
you, wankers. I have seen them all from Kigundu that was running Ugandanet.
A very reason my involvement in Uganda forums is about a big picture that
covers all of us, Acholi violence affects every Ugandan, rich poor mental
drunkard or sober.

On the contrary I wish Abbey success in his new job! It means Museveni has
recognized how powerful the diaspora group is. This will give us opportunity to
measure Abbey's democracy.
Next in the line may be Mulindwa Edward, minister of state in the prime
minister's office in charge of Northern Uganda.
Let us congratulate our own when they get appointed. We have been blaming NRM
for sidelining other people, so when our people are appointed, we should not
complain again.

If you are a fan of the Ugandans At Heart(UAH), you must be wondering why Abbey
Kibirige Semuwemba no longer hits NRM and M7 hard where it hurts. The no
nonsense founder of UAH was allegedly lured into a good deal by president
Museveni in exchange for turning UAH into an NRM stronghold online. With a
cabinet reshuffle around the corner, word has it that Abbey is to become the
new minister of information, and the media centre boss, Ofwono Opondo, has been
ordered to make his transition from 'Kyeyo' to public service as smoothy as
possible. Whether Abbey agrees to the deal or not, we are yet to find out, but
sources say that he will give up his life abroad soon and settle at home. Over
