Ugandans

Again I will go on record that Yoweri Museveni was handed power by UPC. Some of
us lived in that country and our wives our children never had a problem getting
treatment in Uganda hospitals. Even at a time when Iddi Amin had a medical
problem, he drove to Mulago hospital to be treated, yet if he only needed to
fly out yes he would have done so, but he used Mulago hospital for all of us as
Ugandans were using it. What we are seeing in Uganda today is a true result of
those that felt that Amin was terrible for the country, they attacked it from
Tanzania and this is what they brought to us.

It is pathetically satanic for them to start now lamenting at what they
themselves created.

Comrades Tony Owana and Ssemusu Basoga,

The sad passing away of Mr Mbale should give us an opportunity to celebrate his
life and take a more sober look at the failure of our public health system
after 30 years of neglect and mismanagement. For I find it very sad that, even
for easily manageable illnesses and conditions, Ugandans now have to be shipped
abroad for treatment. Mr Museveni himself attends his regular check-ups in
London and Germany; he sends his daughter to a German Hospital to give birth in
an empty government aircraft at a cost of £250,000. Literally every government
cabinet minister, high official, army and intelligence officer, family,
friends, paramours, proteges and cronies of Mr Museveni are shipped abroad for
medical treatment. Museveni's State House now seems to operate a budget for
medical treatment abroad as well as a scholarship scheme for students which is
not subject to any parliamentary or legislative control. Is it not deplorable
that everyone regrets Mr Mbale was not taken abroad in time, when Uganda's
medical system under President Obote not many years ago was the best in Africa
and could compare favourably to those in Europe? The
£250,000 that Museveni spent to send his daughter abroad in a non-life
threatening situation could rehabilitate, stock and pay staff salaries at
Dokolo Hospital for a whole year. Why am I now trying to raise
£500,000 to buy drugs and equipment for Dokolo Hospital, if not because the NRA
has abandoned the people to their own resources?
Comrade Owana talks with awe and admiration about 'Distinguished Order of
the Nile' medal that Mr Museveni bestows on a few select cronies. What the hell
is a medal when our health system has collapsed? Any medal bestowed by
Museveni has absolutely no value whatsoever, and I just can't understand
Comrade Owana in this respect.
The Nazi leader Adolf Hitler also had a habit of giving medals, some of them
with very grandiose titles. Yoweri Museveni, it would seem, has inherited
almost all of Hitler's megalomanic obsessions, like awarding useless medals,
most of which, in the case of Hitler, are now stored in Theatres of Horror and
Galleries of Shame, a destination that similarly awaits Museveni's much
laughed at medals.

Finally, I would prefer to remember Mr Mbale as a victim of a failed state
brought to its knees by a megalomanic, feral and corrupt leader.
His sacrifice should only strenghten our resolve to recapture and to redeem our
nation. Uganda is a bleeding nation led by a semi-educated tyrant whose hands
are dripping with blood. We have got to stop the heamorhage. We have no choice.
