Paul Muwanga died a poor man, does that mean he never sold the Uganda embassy
in Paris? Veery many Ugandans have been stealing a whole whack of money out of
Uganda, how many are really rich today? Stolen money is like money out of a
lottery, many million winners actually die poor, people that die rich are
people that have actually struggled to earn their income for easy come easy go.
Uganda government during the 70’s ran with cash and a whole lot of it for we
never used western government system of borrowing money from world bank, but
we functioned from money out of friends, a very reason Amin never borrowed.
Lastly The money stolen by Kyemba and Malinga was received from Uganda embassy
in London which got it from The Libyan embassy in London. It was recorded as
money in and money out by both embassies. Let us follow the records in both
embassies for they are available. The problem with Uganda history is that it is
not followed by following documentations, and no inquiries at all but
recollection of individuals. We have a lot of funds but with not a single man
accountable for every name raised is clean. Why in all those that served under
Amin government, it is only Kyemba and Malinga listed as thieves? Is the whole
world hating them? I raised the home Andrew Kayiira’s family purchased in The
States, how did they get it funded? Again a Ugandan knows how Kayiira was a
very hard worker to save money for his family to buy a property cash at his
death.

May be there is no money stolen in Uganda !!!!!!!!

Ediofe Hussein:

Lets put the idea of political expedience aside and critique the stories told
about some Ugandans

who fled to save their limbs and lives.

I happen to have met Emmanuel Wakhweya former finance Minister in your late
Dad's government

in much the sameway that I met and got to know Henry Kyemba, the late Dr
Malinga,the late Dr Okumu

Achandere among others.

All these fellows were accused by the regime they were serving on running away
as having stolen colossal

sums of money.

The said monies were monies that would keep them living happily to the ripe age
of 90 plus years, yet on meeting

them and getting to know them, they were people who wer just struggling to make
ends meet.So,if indeed they had

stolen the said monies, where was it that they could still fear flashing it
around long after their former boss was no more?

I hope you remember the story the regime said about Princess Elizabeth
Bagaya, after falling out with it? That Bagaya

a one time Ugandan Foreign affairs Minister was selling her body in plane
toilets?

That type of propaganda was the epitome of the ultimate malice from somebody
whose egos had been lacerated.

So,in as much as there was a beautiful side to your late Dad,most of the
time, his dealing with people and managing

the fall out from those deals, only the beastly side showed up.

Just know that nobody is perfect and thus your late Dad is not the exception.

Forumists,

Why is it politically expedient to side with a thief?

If somebody could convert $7 Million in present terms, does Henry Kyemba, look
like a person who is worth that much?

Sorry for the passing on of Madam Noor Amin(RIP).

What is very disturbing though is that we continue to

accuse people of committing crimes which are best told

as fairy tales to toddlers or at best to birds which will not

attempt at validating whatever they are told.

Uganda has always had a Government since that infamous

flag day aka Independence.

What has always puzzled me is that we often think that in

conducting International business, our Government gives one

fellow monies running in millions of dollars to go out and purchase

whatever the government wants.Surely do we believe that in the

1970s there was such transactions taking place?

These stories fit more with the barter type of trade of the 14th

century era not the 20th century one.

So,the assertion that a one Henry Kyemba ran away with $7 million

(US) is a lie that attempts at repeating it has not helped to make it

a fact.

I doubt this can be settled once and for all. Especially if it is for a simple
post here in UAH. But for your "records", Taban's mother (RIP) is a totally
different person. Let Mr. Rwot whom you are inquiring from, confirm that for
you.

Hussein Juruga,

Which year did she die and where was she buried?. I would love to settle this

family.

Billie Okadamieri,
Why didn't you just ask me?
Nora Amin succumbed to cancer at Mulago hospital where she had been
unsuccesfully treated for days.
Exactly the same sitiation as your colleague journalist Rosemary recently.
Mama Nora is survived by two children. Issa and Fatuma Amin.
As a journalist you surely strive to get news from a closest source.
Especially that I am a member on this web forum.
However I must commend you for trying to set the record straight.
But for those implicating Amin as many have authoritatively done in this forum,
yet Mama Nora died painfully in the hospital while Mr. Kyemba had run away with
7m USD State funds for health equipment, is just heartless.
