I see.  OS X uses a server type of input method, and this enables to
keep same input states in all windows, I think.  However, uim
currently doesn't use such system and uses separated management system
per input context (mostly corresponding to a window).  Of course it is
possible to implement such server type of system using uim, so any
user contribution is welcome.

No with current uim's Anthy UTF-8.  If you can use Mozc with uim, you
can use this feature though.
