Hi Steve,

Yes. I do run Linux - MontaVista.

At the bootstrap stage there is no OS. It just a basic program that
enables the serial console && the ethernet.
So by implemeting the UIP - I could only confirm via ethereal that
the ARP requests are getting a reply out from the board. I could add the
ICMP just to have the ping completely work but ..... my main interest is
the tftp

Is it possible to have access at your tftp client ? Any legal issues
? Open Source ? Etc .....

Thanks,
Dan S.

Hi Dan, I recently completed a tftp client for uip 1.0 on a Winbond
78LE516 8 bit controller
are you running an RTOS?

Subject: [uip-users] Question uip && tftp

Hi,

I would like to know if someone has already an example of tftp client
that runs under uip.
I am writing a bootloader for a PPC board that is custom made and the
u-boot cannot be ported to it. I use the UIP to have the tcp/ip stack &&
seems that goes ok. I need to add the tftp on top to be able to ftp a
linux kernel from outside the box.

If you have a working example please let me know.

Thanks,
Dan Sirbu
