Hi All, Yet again, I turn to UKNOF as there is nothing the collective members of this list don’t know! I apologise for my repeated abuse!
I’m looking for a decent wholesale domain name provider. We currently have a Nominet tag for UK stuff and we use OpenSRS for non-UK stuff. We don’t have an awful lot of domains - we offer it as a value-add, but it’s a few dozen names - not hundreds. For this reason I need to simplify and consolidate, however I’m struggling to find someone that meets my requirements: - UK Company - Supports all the new gTLDs including .scot - Not daylight-robbery prices (albeit, low volume it’s accepted it’s not going to be as cheap as we get just now) - Decent portal and/or API - Most importantly: monthly invoicing and credit terms. The last issue is the biggest - I can’t be bothered messing around with credit card top-ups, and individual invoices every time we register a name etc. I really want to find someone who can just invoice at the end of the month for all registrations and renewals. Anything more complicated is a challenge for our already stretched accounts dept. I don’t need DNS, web, mail or anything else. An easy/affordable SSL offering would be nice, but not massively important. My requirements are super super simple - but from searching around, it would seem such a company doesn’t exist? If you know of anyone who can do this, please let me know off-list.
