Hi Chanda,

I had written earlier to you about downloading ULC Integration Plug-in from
the update site.

Could you tell me what exactly is the problem and what message do you get
when it fails to download?

However, for your benefit I have attached a zip file that contains ULC
Integration plug-in. Please unzip in a temp dir and copy th e features and
plugins dirs to your eclipse installation. (Installing this plug-in will
mean that you accept the license terms for using a ULC community
contribution).

You cannot mix ULC widgets with Swing/SWT in the sense that ULC widgets
cannot be displayed in a Swing/SWT container and vice versa (i.e. JButton in
ULCBoxPane or ULCButton in JPanel). However, you can certainly extend ULC to
include custom UI components (see the ULC Extension Guide). Moreover,
because ULC client is a java library, you can start a Swing App from a ULC
client and vice versa.

I hope this helps.

Thanks and regards,

Janak

Hendrik,
Thanks for your mail. I have almost finished evaluating ULC. But I could not
download the ULC Integration plug -in. So, it was not easy for me to deploy
my applications on Tomcat. Maybe you could send me the ULC Integration
plug-in. Is it possible to mix ULC Widgets with Swing, SWT or other custom
widgets in an one ULC Application?
Regards,
Chanda
