I just wanted to add that the extension documentation, the extension
sample and the JavaDoc point out that postInitialize is the method to
initialize the client-side widget after the server-side properties
have been set. If you have any suggestions how to further improve the
documentation we would be glad to get your feedback.

solution of this annoyance...
Also not got any response (maybe Canoo people on vacations ???)
on the DocumentFilter problem I posted yesterday (limiting number
of characters in TextArea)... but my (Ja)va (D)ecompiler applied
on the corresponding client class at least gave me an idea what
happened.... (UITextArea changing the Document in
postInitializeState())... but somehow feeling incomfortable
because loosing many precious hours trying to sort out again a
stupid problem without any feedback from Canoo.... It would be
nice to get a fast feedback from them in this kind of situations
I think....
