[ULC-developer] Null Layout

I found the null layout component in the ultra light client code community.  I would like to use it but am not sure just how to incorporate it into my project.   What steps would need to be taken to include the null layout pane in my project.  And will the null layout work in conjunction with the ULC Visual Editor?   Thanks, Brian
