[ULC-developer] ULCList subclass NPE

I have created a subclass of ULCList, which when executed throws the 
following exception:

Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-1" java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.ulcjava.base.client.UIList$BasicList.paint(UIList.java:2)
As this is in your code, can you give me any clues into what might cause 
this to happen?
