Hi there! I faced before the problem to send asynchronous GUI updates from server to client in my ULC applications. I resolved that by using ULCPollingTimer or another socket to send client roundtrip requests from server.
Now i faced with a new feature of Jetty Application Server (www.mortbay.org), called "Continuations" that should help webapp developers work with Ajax-like applications. It seems that feature works by keeping the client request (and his serving thread on the thread) suspendended until a timeout or a new event occours. Is there any way/plan to use these new server features to make our life easier with ULC?
